After so many events were hosted online this past year it was exciting to finally hold a Ringwood Publishing Event in person! On the 2nd September Ringwood were able to celebrate the book launch for Charles. P. Sharkey’s Glaswegian crime novel, Clutching At Straws. The launch took place at Sweeney’s Pub in Glasgow and it was an excellent turn out. Attendees on the night were treated to catering by Lesley Walker, live music from Gary Walker and even a short reading from a passage in the book! Jack Cassidy, one of our talented Ringwood interns, lead a Q+A session about the novel. Our wonderful interns, Eilidh Harrower, Eva McLean and Hana Kennedy were also in attendance selling books on the night and welcoming guests to the venue. Thank you for all your help!
Charles. P. Sharkey is the author of three previous books with Ringwood Publishing: Dark Loch, The Volunteer and Memoirs of Franz Schreiber all of which are still available for purchase as paperback or e-book from our website.
