We’re delighted to announce that Maureen Cullen’s Havoc Shore has been longlisted at The Saltires.
The Saltires (Scotland’s National Book Awards) have been running since 1937 and are annual literary prizes celebrating the best of Scottish literature and research. This recognition is particularly inspiring for a short story collection and for a book published by a small independent press. It signifies not only Maureen’s exceptional literary work, but also the vital role that independent publishers have in supporting distinctive voices and bringing ambitious writing to readers. It’s wonderful to see a collection of short stories being recognised alongside the diverse Scottish literary talent represented by The Saltires.
We’re thrilled to see Havoc Shore as a longlisted title. Congratulations Maureen!
