Random Acts of Kindness week happens every year from the 14th to the 20th of February, Random Acts of Kindness Day falling on the 17th. This initiative started out as a small non-profit organisation’s attempt to make kindness the norm by celebrating stories about kindness and has grown in significance from its beginnings in 1995. Overwhelming scientific evidence has shown the positive impact of both receiving and performing an act of kindness.

This year, Ringwood is celebrating kind acts and doing a bit of kindness ourselves! Over the entire week, we’ll be holding giveaways across all our social media channels, where you have the opportunity to win a physical copy of Lockdown Laughs and a mystery e-book.

To enter on Instagram, follow us at @ringwoodpublishing, like the RAOK post, comment on it with #raok or tag a friend, then share the post on your story.

On Twitter, follow @ringwoodpublish, like the RAOK post, then quote tweet with a story about your own act of kindness. This can be something you did yourself, something you’re going to do, something someone gave to you, or even something you witnessed.

Lastly, on Facebook, follow Ringwood Publishing, and like and share the RAOK post.

Even if you don’t feel like taking part, or if you’re not doing it on Twitter, we would love to read about your random acts of kindness! Share your story on social media and tag us in it!

Keep in mind that all proceeds from Lockdown Laughs go to charity, so even if don’t end up being one of the lucky winners, you can always buy a copy as an act of kindness.

We look forward to reading your stories and wish you all the luck in the giveaway! Let’s be kind to each other this week, and every week afterwards.
